About the role:
This role will contribute to the growth of PIN’s programmes across PIN Country Programs by strengthening partnerships with Gulf-based donors.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Relationship management and External positioning
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with priority Gulf-based donors, foundations and partners;
- Lead PIN’s external positioning based on its operational footprint and regional priorities;
- Develop and implement engagement plans with prioritized humanitarian and development stakeholders and donors in the Gulf region;
- Engage with donors and partners to inform programme development and positioning ahead of funding opportunities;
- Represent PIN in relevant forums and bilateral engagements;
- Act as a link between donor intelligence, engagement strategies, and PIN’s programmatic priorities in the region.
- Identify, track and support the advancement of Gulf donors funding opportunities across the region in coordination with regional and country programme teams Monitor Gulf donor priorities, trends, and possible partnership modalities, maintaining an overview of key stakeholders and opportunities;
- Lead the identification, development, and strategic pitching of concept ideas to prospective donors, ensuring alignment with donor priorities and organizational objectives.Work closely with regional, country programme, and HQ teams to align engagement and opportunity development efforts.
- 7–10+ years of experience in the humanitarian or development sector
- Proven experience in donor engagement and business development
- Experience with Gulf donors or non-traditional funding streams is an asset
- Strong relationship management and communication skills
- Ability to translate programme realities into funding opportunities
- Fluency in English required; Arabic is an advantage
- Working environment in a well-established humanitarian organization in a challenging context;
