The Consultant is therefore expected to observe the following principles throughout the engagement: a) Confidentiality and data protection The Consultant shall maintain the confidentiality of all information accessed during the assignment, comply with applicable data protection requirements, and acknowledge that all reports and work products produced under this assignment remain the property of DROSOS FOUNDATION. b) Independence and conflict of interest The Consultant shall disclose, prior to accepting any individual mandate and throughout the assignment, any actual, potential or perceived conflicts of interest — including existing or prior professional, business, family or personal relationships with a partner organisation of DROSOS FOUNDATION or its staff, board members or beneficiaries — that may affect their impartiality. The Consultant shall maintain independence and objectivity throughout the assignment and promptly inform DROSOS FOUNDATION of any circumstances, arising before or during the engagement, that may compromise or be perceived to compromise this independence. These principles are set out here as overarching expectations of the assignment; they will be further detailed in the individual consultancy agreement signed with the selected Consultant.
