The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Management, is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing the organization's supply chain operations. They provide strategic direction, drive process improvements, manage supplier relationships, and ensure the efficient and cost-effective flow of goods and services. The Senior Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams and leverages their expertise to enhance the overall performance of the supply chain function.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1.      Identifying suitable vendors and negotiating with vendors to secure the best prices for products and services.

2.      Ensuring that vendors fulfill their contractual obligations.

3.      Developing and sustaining long-standing relationships with company-approved vendors.

4.      Meeting with suitable vendors to assess their products, inquire about their services, negotiate pricing, and communicate any product or service-related concerns.

5.      Conduct research on available vendors to determine which vendors offer the best pricing and product quality.

6.      Continually monitor sales trends to determine which products are more popular than others.

7.      Implementing vendor selection programs to ensure that the best vendors are secured.

8.      Conducting interviews with new vendors and informing approved vendors of their responsibilities and obligations.

9.      Establishing standards by which to assess the performance of approved vendors.

10.      Evaluating current vendor management programs and identifying ways to improve them.

11.      Lead the operations of the department as assigned whilst effectively leading and guiding members of senior management as well as building and sharing a strategic vision that others can aspire to and commit to

12.      Establish the required performance standards within the department, ensuring effective cascading to respective teams and management of adherence to them

13.      Lead and review the performance of individuals in the team

14.      Give direction and leadership toward the achievement of the division’s strategy, annual goals, and objectivesز

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced certifications in supply chain management or a master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience (12+ years) in supply chain management, with a focus on strategic sourcing, procurement, logistics, and inventory management. Experience in a managerial or leadership role is required.
• Certification in Procurement (i.e., CPP, CPPM…) or equivalentز
